How can we help?

Support for Morse: Light & Sound. Convert text into Morse code and transmit it with sound, your camera light, or both.

Contact Dmitriy Koltsov. For a technical issue, include your iPhone model, iOS version and what happened. Please do not send passwords or sensitive message text.

Send a message

Choose the text language, type or paste a message, or use keyboard dictation. Review the code, select Sound, Light or Both, and tap Start.

Adjust the signal

Set speed, signal volume and flash brightness. iPhone system volume also affects the sound. Flash modes require an available camera torch.

Repeat and pause

Use Repeat to send again, or enable Loop for continuous transmission. Pause, resume or stop at any time. Leaving the app pauses transmission.

Languages

App language and text language are independent. Russian uses a Cyrillic table. Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, Ukrainian, Spanish and French are approximately transliterated to Latin, not translated in meaning.

PRIVACY

Your messages stay on your device.

Data handling

Morse: Light & Sound converts messages on your device. The app has no account system, advertising, analytics, developer-operated servers or third-party SDKs. It does not send message text or device data to the developer.

Entered text stays in application memory until cleared or until the application process ends. The app does not write a message history. Language and transmission preferences are stored locally. Deleting the app removes its local preferences; system backups may retain copies according to your device settings.

Clipboard

The app reads the clipboard only when you tap Paste, and writes Morse code to it only when you tap Copy. Clearing the message in the app does not remove copies in the clipboard or other apps.

Dictation, camera light and sound

Dictation is supplied by iOS or your chosen keyboard. Its availability, network use and data handling depend on that provider and your system settings. The app does not operate its own voice-recording service.

The app uses the camera torch to emit signals. It does not take photos, capture video or save camera images. It generates tones but does not record microphone audio.

Deletion

Clear removes the current message from application state. Ending the app process removes the in-memory message. There is no developer-held account or message database to delete. System backups and text copied elsewhere are managed separately.

Sharing and tracking

The app does not track you or share data with advertising, analytics, AI providers or data brokers. If a future version changes these practices, this policy and the App Store disclosures will be updated before release.

Support correspondence and this website

If you email support, your address and the information you provide are used to respond to your request. Avoid including private message text. This website has no contact form or developer-added analytics. Website hosting and email providers may process the technical information needed to deliver their services; these are separate from the app’s on-device message processing.
